Bollywood Weekender with Ujala Radio

The team arrived at Center parcs De Eemhof on a Saturday afternoon with a mission to revive the lost Bollywood legends. And we did!

Started the day with a workshop for ladies and kid by me, Sneha. The dance clinic had more than 100% participation. We saw everyone in sight dancing with us and following the dance steps. Age no bar! The spirit of Surinamese ladies is amazing. 3 to 80 year old women , everyone on feet and walking aids were in the spirit to enjoy the dance workshop.

The evening started around 830 pm at the business center. It was a white evening and our performance to Meena Kumari and Qawalli tunes kicked it off. An energetic band kicked in for the next hour making everyone enjoy the music and get off to dance on the open floor.

Our next 2 performances were retro disco style and a modern Bollywood hip hop style. The audience loved us and cheered us all along. And that's what makes us and Bollywood tick!!!
